I cannot wait to see Alaska! My companion and I are going on a land only tour Sept 4,1998...I especially want to see totem poles, because I feel they are they are history of a people who are now my people being as Alaska is a state ... we citizens of the USA sure are a melting pot of nations. Alyse! Florida!

Louis and Mary Leakey found fossils in Tanzania and Kenya that indicated human evolution began in East Africa 2 million years ago. I plan to travel from East Africa to Patagonia in South America, self and wind-powered, by way of Asia. No rush. Recreate paths taken by early man. Seek people-oriented, sensitive, caring, creative, literary, slim, frugal, introspective, spirited young woman with whom to travel. No smoke/drugs. Deep love for wildlife, sense of humor a plus.
