EVER DREAM OF HAVING AN ISLAND OF YOUR OWN?
"IN ALASKA?"

Camp Island View

Now for sale, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity! Located in the Tongass National Forest, Camp Island is the perfect place for your own private retreat, or, open it up as a lodge and share your "piece of heaven" with others!

Icebergs, supplied by LeConte Glacier, encompass the island year round, providing you with front row seats to one of natures more massive displays of force as they beach themselves in the shallow waters and fracture with a thunderous timbre.

Wildlife abounds at Camp Island. A myriad of marshland ducks, Canadian and snow geese, swans, eagles (island comes complete with it's own eagles nest!), and a host of other birds. Enjoy the resident martens who, in the fall, display a beautiful coat of white fur. Listen to the wolves on the mainland across the bay howl at night, or take one of the boats over on an afternoon and look for moose wandering the shoreline. If whale watching is more your speed head towards the glacier and see if you can spot a pod of humpbacks or killer whales.

Running low on food while your there? No problem! Camp Island is located in the middle of some of the worlds most bountiful shrimping and crabbing grounds. Dungeness and king crab, spotted and tiger prawns are there for the taking. Don't forget halibut fishing on the back side of the island.
